Message from Pastor Myers

Georgetown Baptist Church is a family of diverse, creative, loving, and committed Christians who are dedicated to doing kingdom work.  We offer various opportunities for our community to worship God, study the Bible, and grow spiritually in our convenient location at the corner of South Main Street and Free Soil Road in Georgetown.  It is our desire that from the time you enter the door of our faciltiy that you experience Jesus Christ as Lord God Almighty.

As the Pastor, it is my vision that Georgetown Baptist Church transforms people who are transforming both our community and the world.  The Bible states in Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

We want to be an Acts 1:8 Church where the gospel is shared from our front door to the uttermost parts of the earth!  Our church is committed to becoming a church that serves...here in the community or someplace in the world.  Our church is based on the fact that every believer is called of God.  We want to help you find your place...your place of service!  You are a member of a great family...God's family, and Georgetown Baptist Church is a wonderful place to serve in that Family.
